When chartering a yacht, there are many decisions to be made. To make sure you make the right choice, we have written down some steps that may help you on your way:

1. How many guests are you bringing?
2. Would you like to relax on a luxury motor yacht or go for the full boating experience on a sailing yacht?
3. What is your budget going to be?
4. Where do you want to go?
5. When and for how long are you planning to go?

Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA)

To help you set your budget, we would like to remind you that next to the chartering fee you will also pay for an Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA). This allowance covers expenses like fuel, food and drinks. If you would like to take the APA in account when setting your budget, it will be around 30% of the charter fee.

VAT

Another thing to keep in mind is the amount of VAT that will be charged, depending on in which EU country you are cruising. When planning your holiday, we will inform you on the amount of VAT you will be charged with during your stay in your chosen locations.

After you have answered these questions, the booking procedure begins.

Once you have given us your charter preferences, we will send you a Charter Party Agreement (CPA) detailing the yacht, agreed dates, location, cruising area and costs. When you have signed this agreement, the first payment of 50% is due to the account shown on the CPA. The agreement is then sent to the yacht owner for their signature after which a fully-signed copy will be returned to you. The other 50% plus APA and possible additional expenses has to be paid 28 days before the charter commences.

Charterers preference form
A few weeks before your charter, you will receive a preference form. Here you can fill out your travel details, so we can arrange the transfer from the airport to your yacht.On this form, you can list any food likes or dislikes, allergies or other food preferences.
